I have two issues that would be nice to address whether possible. First, when it is last release, it could stop looking for updates or leverage what update is possible to apply. Droping them into playlist works you can play them in case VLC wont cras ahs it happened with one file now. I will post log in other post. Changing extension to.wmv enable VLC as workable App. But file that palyed before OK crashed VLC now. Trac is down for maintenance so I can't view the bugs listed, but dragging and dropping VIDEO_TS folders from.img files I've created or DVDs I've burned on OSX doesn't work. Seems to work if I open them from the file menu however. I googled and tried searching the forum for this issue but couldn't readily find anything.

I have read elsewhere that VLC has problems with disk images or DVDs created/burned on OSX. For some reason I feel that I haven't encountered this until recently, but it's possible that in the past I hadn't really been checking my.img files or playing burned DVDs with VLC very much. I downloaded VLC 0.9.10 just to see if this would fix the issue, and there wasn't any change. Any help is appreciated, even if it's just a link to another thread or 'this is a known issue with VLC' reply.

Please get VLC 0.8.6i, which includes an older video output module still supporting your Mac. @ghoster: As you could see by the date of the initial posting to this thread and its contents, you'll notice that it was created before VLC 0.9.10 was released and therefore meant to collect bugs specifically to fix in this very release, as it is the last version of VLC for 10.4.x ever.
